The Boy and His Shoes

                                                 THE BOY AND HIS SHOES

One day, a boy named Vikram was travelling by a train with his parents. All the time he was glancing at his new shoes that his father had bought for him. After some time, he removed his shoes to take a nap. 

                     When he woke up , he found one the shoes missing. He started crying loudly. His parents tried to console him. At last his father promised that after reaching home, he would by him a new pair of shoes.

                Hearing this, Vikram got so excited that he threw the other shoe out of the window of the train. On reaching their destination, he found his lost shoe lying in a corner. Now he regretted for the loss which he had incurred only because of his hastiness. 

Moral of the Story: Haste Causes Loss
