The Boy and The Kite

Once a father and a son went to a kite flying festival. The son became very happy to see the sky filled with colourful kites.

 He asked his father to get him a kite and a pulley so that he can fly a kite too. So, the father purchased kites and a pulley of string for his son. 

The son started to fly a kite. Soon, his kite reached high up in the sky. After a while, the son said, ''Father, it seems that the string is holding up the kite from flying higher. 

If we break it, it will be free and will fill even higher. Can we break it?''

The father  cut the string from the pulley. The kite started to go a little higher. But then, slowly, it started to come down. Soon, it fell down on the terrace of some building. 

The son was surprised to see this. He asked his father, ''Father, I thought that after cutting off the string, the kite can freely fly higher. But why did it fall down?''

The father explained, ''Son, the string was not holding the kite from going higher. Rather it was helping it stay higher in a proper direction.

 And when we cut the string, the kite fell down with outs its support''. The son realized his mistake.

Moral of the Story: Sometimes in life, we feel that we can progress quickly and reach the newer heights if we are not tied up with our family and our home. But we do not realize that our family and loved ones give us support in the tough time and encourage us to progress more. We can lose ourselves without them. So never get separated from them.
